Karl Schwille
Karl is the husband of Clinical Director Sueann F. Schwille and co-owner of Quiet Mind Psychotherapeutic Services, Inc. He is a retired Navy Warrant Officer having served for 21 years. He is also a retired Funeral Director, he was the Manager of Turner-Robershaw Funeral Home in Front Royal from 2008 until it closed in 2018. Along with his wife, they rescue Dachshunds, primarily seniors, allowing them to live out their senior years in a comfortable and loving home. He has an adult daughter living in Chesapeake, VA.

Sueann Schwille
MSW, LCSW, CCTP
Sueann is from a Keyser, West Virginia. She has an Associates of Funeral Service Education Degree and worked as a Licensed Funeral Director for ten years. She holds a RBA with an emphasis in Psychology and Masters of Social Work Degree from West Virginia University. She is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional through the International Association of Trauma Professionals, specializing in the treatment of children and family systems. She is an amateur painter, enjoys being outdoors, and loves Santa Claus. She and husband Karl spend most evenings cuddling with their “pack” of rescued dachshunds.

Matthew Welch, MSW, LCSW
My name is Matthew Welch and I was born and raised in upstate New York. My passion for helping people started back in high school, when working as a counselor for the New York State Sheriff's Association Summer Camp. After high school, I served four years in the United States Air Force. At the end of my enlistment, I received my Bachelors' Degree from Keuka College, followed by my Masters' from Case Western Reserve University. My approach to counseling and treatment is a Solution Focused approach, working with children and families to find solutions to current struggles. I have 10 years experience working with children with behavioral issues, anger issues, anxiety, and depression, among others. My experience includes residential care, intensive in-home services, outpatient services, and working with children in a school setting. When I am not helping others, I enjoy spending time with my own family. I have two children and can relate to the stresses of being a parent. I also enjoy the outdoors; hiking, camping, kayaking/canoeing.

Sarah Kujawski, QMHP-T
Sarah has lived in Warren County for 14yrs by way of the Tidewater Virginia region. She's been a theatre technician, barista, radio advertising account executive, automotive service provider, nanny, and Community/Public Relations Manager. Her passion is helping people discover and recognize their incredible, inherent worth, and grow accordingly. (Think hype-queen and morale-mom.) Sarah's interest fields are Compassion Focused Therapy and mindfulness. She is certified in DISC behavioral styles, Driving Forces, and EQ (Emotional Intelligence). She is married to her heart's dearest friend, Steven, and honored to be the birth mother of two sons and "mommy lady" of three more and a goddaughter. She enjoys cooking, painting, singing, dancing, being silly, and big mugs of coffee with a side of good-natured shenanigans.

Sarah Nickerson, MSW, LCSW
My name is Sarah Nickerson and I was born and raised in upstate New York, before moving to Virginia in 2012. I received my BA in Psychology at SUNY New Paltz and my Masters in Social Work from the University at Buffalo. I have over 10 years of experience working with children and families with behavioral issues, anxiety, depression and anger issues. I have experience in the Foster Care System, Child Protection Services, Multisystemic Therapy, and Equine Therapy. In my free time, I am an active member of my church, I do Crossfit, and enjoy time with my family. I have two young children and can relate to the stressors and challenges of being a parent.

Counselor
Marcie Dunnet, MS
Marcie is from Canandaigua, NY. She was a teacher for seventeen years before changing careers into counseling. Marcie received her MS in Clinical Psychology from Walden University in 2017 and is currently a student at Liberty University working on her MA in Mental Health and Counseling. She focuses on treating trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues through mindfulness and person-centered approaches. Her plan is to become EMDR certified.
She loves to spend time with her family and friends, be outside, and snuggle up to her two dogs and two cats.

Administrative Assistant/Certified Peer Recovery Specialist
Brandace Kerns, CPRS
Brandace is our Administrative Assistant. She was born and raised in Front Royal, VA. She has two amazing daughters, is married to her best friend, and has her fur baby, MaeMae.
She is also a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist in the state of VA.
She loves spending time with family, singing, and helping others.

Counselor
Tony Ortiz, BA MA, QHMP-T
Tony is a native New Yorker; born in Brooklyn and raised in Queens. He has a BA in English from Queens College and moved to Washington, DC in 2008 to attend Capital Bible Seminary where he received his MA in Christian Counseling and Discipleship. He has worked in the Telecom Industry; as a Computer Lab and English teacher for grades 1 – 11; and eight years at the Washington Hospital Center Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic working in Mental Health Case Management; Community Outreach; IOP program liaison with the inpatient psychiatric unit; and PHP Program Administrator. Tony works with various challenges such as trauma, grief recovery, relationship conflicts, anxiety, depression, caregiver burnout, and more. Tony enjoys quiet time with his wife of 23 years, studying Theology, the violin, and playing with his Dachshund.
